My dearest Kak Wan, you are now married! Yeay!  many many congratulations to you and your better half.
The kenduri was at kak wan's home, as it is popularly known Pumpong on 20th November 2010.  theme for the day was purple/pink - i'm not sure what colour it is, but that color rocks! Sangat sesuai lah. Menyerlahkan keayuan dan kewanite-an mu gitu.
Quite a number of IBUK friends made it to Pumpong, some drove from Penang, Gerik, KL and Bt Kawan just for the wedding. Was good to be able to see you all again

Perkahwinan Hazrina dengan Awangku Fairulnazri

Salam to all my friends,
I flew to Miri at the end of Dec 2009 specifically to attend our dearest friend's marriage solemnisation and wedding reception. (also did a detour to Brunei and Niah National Park, but that's a story for another blog).
Congratulations to Hazrina & Fairulnazri They tied the knot on 1st of January 2010. What a way to start the brand new year

The wedding reception was help the following night at Imperial Hotel, Miri. We were greeted with the sweet love songs sung by the hotel band.
I was also impressed by the other wedding singers who sounded like Siti Nurhaliza and the other guy who sounded like a cross between Richard Marx and Jon bon Jovi. And finally, the most unforgettable event was that, I and a few "lucky" others had the chance to be entertained by a dancing Datuk (oh noes!! ini bukan tarian dari mana-mana suku kaum di Sarawak)  it was confusing and a bit scary at first, but it is quite funny when I think about it now
To Ina & Fairul may both of you be blessed with good life and happiness, InsyaAllah.

Faza's & Boe's Wedding 6th December 2009 @ PJ

(Wow... can u believe that the last ibuk fotopages entry was April last year??? )
I was in PJ last weekend with only one intention in mind, to go to Fazarina and Boekhren's wedding. A happy occasion.
Faza & Boe really are a cute couple. I wish them both happiness and prosperity in their lives together.
Oh, and it was a great time because I get to meet up with a lot of friends that I haven't met for a very, very long time. 
- Welcome back to Malaysia Ina, Aliza & Arel, Syef & family. I know you guys will love staying,working & lepak here.
- I hope Fizah, Najib & Mizan enjoyed your stay in Msia. Come back again soon.
- First time jumpa Aqil. Alia, ko maintain beb!

Saiful Zaid & Nik Nadia @ Tanjung Malim 26th Apr 2008

Saya hampir-hampir tidak dapat pergi ke Majlis Persandingan Saiful Zaid dan Nik Nadia pada 26hb April yang lepas atas gara-gara cukai jalan yang telah tamat tempoh lebih dari sebulan kerana lupa diperbaharui.
Namun begitu, kalau sudah namanya rezeki, memang pasti akan manjadi rezeki. Alhamdulillah Hmm.. tengok tu, kami sampai juga di Tanjung Malim 
Pada pendapat saya, kedua-dua mempelai ini adalah antara orang-orang yang amat saya senangi.
Penang -> Ipoh = 3 jam.
Ipoh -> Tj Malim = 1.5 jam.
Kami tiba lewat petang kerana lewat bertolak dari Ipoh. Agak risau juga memikirkan mungkin mereka dah bungkus makanan dan lipat meja dan kerusi bersiap-siap untuk balik, kemungkinan besar kami kena pergi ke KFC terdekat. Tetapi, bak kata orang-orang tua, kalau dah rezeki, memang dah rezeki... kami pula yang menghabiskan makanan di situ dan membawa balik banyak telur rebus untuk sarapan esok pagi
Tahniah lagi sekali Didi & Zaid.

29th March 2008 - Hadzreel & Aliza
|
|
Congratulations to our friends   ; Areel and Aliza who tied the knot on 28th March 2008.  Both looked handsome and beautiful in silver attire. Although, the akad nikah ceremony was held in Petaling Jaya, but somehow, it felt like we are somewhere in Kota Bharu or Bachok or Tanah Merah . Which was fine with me. Hehe..
The reception followed the next night at Dewan Perdana Felda that was just a rice pot's cooking from KLCC. A few old friends took the time to attend the wedding; Kak Wan, Didi & Zaid, Alia & Faizal, Katong, me and Miss Loh.
Both Areel and Aliza will leave for Germany later this year  , best of luck ya, don't stay there too long.

Visiting Alma Mater

I went back to Banting.
I just can't wipe out the stupid grin   on my face when I walked down the corridors that we used to thread and peeked inside the rooms we used to sit in.
No matter how much we hated it being there back then (7 years ago?), KMB did brought a lot of good things to each and everyone of us.. we found friendship, some of us found cinta sejati disana , we met teachers and gurus who taught us everything we need to know academically and socially. Bagus sekali dan terima kasih semua.
